Christine studied sculpture for a year in high school and she has been sculpting ever since. Her favorite medium is clay, but she also makes pieces out of papier-maché with wire, wood and stone.
Christine draws most of her inspiration for her sculptures from Scandinavian design (and its minimalism), from the Jugendstil and L'Art Nouveau movement, and from the work of Henri Matisse.
Christine likes to experiment with various sculpting styles and techniques. She has made several sculptures on commission. Christine is always happy to get to take on a new project and find new, creative ways to create an original sculpture. Please feel free to contact her directly if you would like to learn more about her work or commission her for a sculpture.
