Christine Nikander has extensive knowledge of international human rights, human environmental rights, business and human rights, ESG, the just transition, corporate social responsibility, and EU regulatory law. She completed coursework on human rights and public international law at Leiden University, on corporate social responsibility at Edinburgh University Law School, and on business human rights at Columbia Law School. She has put her human rights skillset to use as a legal counsel at a social enterprise and as a researcher at an NGO.

Christine enjoys combining her training in public interest law and corporate law in her work, research, and teaching. She regularly lectures and speaks as a panelist on human rights, corporate social responsibility, as well as environmental, social, and governance standards.
