A warm welcome!

Over the coming months, I will be taking a series of short road trips along the "Road of Weser Renaissance". I will be capturing what I see through the lens of my DSLR camera and sharing my travels with you here. With every road trip I take, you will get to see a bit more of the local food and architecture of the towns and regions located along the Weser River in the north-west of Germany. I will also be telling you a bit about the history of the "Weser Renaissance" as an architectural style and an art form, throughout my travels along the river.

I am writing this blog in the hope that my road trips can be a source of inspiration for traveling safely and sustainably in these unusual times. My travel is carbon neutral, as I am driving an e-car that runs on 100% renewable energy. These small adventures of mine are also pandemic-proof, as I am only traveling with a family member (who lives in the same household as me) and otherwise I will be socially-distancing throughout.

I hope you will enjoy the photography and stories that I have to share, and perhaps virtually join me on my adventures along the River Weser! Feel free to leave me a comment or drop me an e-mail, if there is ever a location, building or dish on my journeys that you would like me to tell you more about.
