Christine in the founder and CEO of Nikander Holding B.V. and of Palsa & Pulk B.V. Christine also founded and directs two community-based and non-profit organizations, called "Mens Artium" and "Sustainability Education for Europe". "Mens Artium" is active at the nexus of human rights, restorative justice, and the arts. "Sustainability Education for Europe" is a policy-focused group that pushing for better access to sustainability education across Europe.
Christine currently writes a weekly column, called "The E-Waste Column", on LinkedIn. The column discusses recent developments in law, policy, and business regarding e-waste and transition minerals. She also conducts legal research for Europe-wide research projects.
In 2020-2021, Christine acted as legal counsel for a social enterprise.
In the past, Christine has drafted and negotiated IP licensing agreements for a social enterprise that was scaling up. She has also drafted company-internal policies and third-party clauses to manage and protect IP rights. Moreover, Christine has also drafted the corporate social responsibility clauses and ethical guidelines for a young company.
In 2021, Christine worked as a freelancer on large-scale legal document review assignments.
In 2021, Christine acted as a communications officer to her alma mater's alumni association and she drafted reports for an Amsterdam-based human rights NGO.
Christine edits and proofreads legal blog posts prior to publication.
In 2021, Christine worked as a freelancer for a legal translation office, translating English, German and Finnish legal documents.
Christine is currently working on two poetry collections, a novel and a short story collection. She is also co-authoring a series of children books.
Christine recently finished making a new series of linocut prints. She is also in the process of illustrating a series of children's books.
Christine acts as a mentor to a few students and young graduates from her alma mater.
